final year studying BA Fashion at Cleveland College of Art & Design,
determined to pursue further from education into a rewarding career within
Fashion. Motivated and committed to
being successful within the fashion industry, and believe the various
experience that has been gained throughout university will help to achieve
this. I feel that my knowledge and skills extends to a range of positions
within the fashion industry.

Qualifications
2013 – Present
– Cleveland College or Art & Design
(BA) Fashion – I
am currently studying a BA hons Degree in Fashion at CCAD. Since starting my
degree I have developed my skills and knowledge in experimenting
with drawing and illustration techniques, contemporary and exploratory pattern
development, trend predictions and market
analysis, design and creative development
for the fashion industry and fabric manipulation.
I
have gained excellent computer and graphic software skills, I am confident
using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have had the opportunity to
develop my skills in using equipment such as, industry standard CAD CAM system
(Gerber), digital fabric printing facilities and a range of industrial machinery.
Throughout
the duration of University assignments have given me the opportunity to work
with clients of the industry, this is something that has been very beneficial to
me, as it has given me knowledge of how the industry works.
Throughout
my degree, I have worked in the hospitality industry and have over 6 years
customer service experience.

Bar Staff - Full Time
My duties as a bar person in Teesside Golf Club include
serving both alcoholic and soft drinks to customers and general cleaning of the
bar. I have also been given the opportunity to develop my cellar management
skills. Other duties include serving on and clearing away meals in the
restaurant. Another responsibility is to take and confirm bookings for both the
restaurant and function room. I also deal with cash and card payments
regularly, including cashing up at the end of a shift.
Working
at Teesside Golf Club has given me years of experience in the hospitality
sector and the opportunity to connect with executive members of the Golf Club,
in addition to visiting parties and guests using the function rooms.

worked for this company for a two-week internship, were I gained hands on
experience within the fashion industry. I assisted photographers in all aspects
including preparing and steaming garments for photo shoots. I was very proactive
doing
everything necessary to ensure the photo-shoot ran smoothly as well as running
general errands. I
was given the opportunity to photograph and edit my own images, using
Photoshop.

Profile
I am studying a BA HONS degree in fashion as CCAD.
Throughout my time at University I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and
experience that I feel has benefited me greatly and has prepared me to progress
in future employment.
I am an enthusiastic and hard working individual and like to
take on a task with the result in mind. I can work well on my own or as part of
a team. I am a well-organised person and
like to complete activities on time. I also enjoy combining working and
learning whilst on the job. During my current employment I have been given the
opportunity to develop my skills. I have studied an NVQ Level 3 in Beverage
Services whilst working which has given me a better knowledge of the job. Excellent
customer service and interpersonal skills that I feel will benefit me greatly
in the future.
I currently hold a
full current clean driving license and have done since 2009.
Hobbies and
Interests
I have always had a keen interest in fashion and love to be
up to date with latest trends and current fashion news. I enjoy reading, especially
fashion magazines to find the latest collections and styles.
I also attend the gym on a regular basis, as I believe
keeping an active, healthy lifestyle is important.

I have also been thinking about the next step of my career and I would really like to get into teaching, so i have been in contact with schools in the area to gain experience and knowledge of teaching. Dear Sir/Madam,
I am looking to gain teaching work experience at your school to help me progress in my career as a secondary school teacher. Currently I am studying BA (hons) Fashion at Cleveland College of Art & Design (CCAD), I am hoping to start a PGCE course in September.
I am willing to volunteer in any subject, however my preferred subjects would be within Design & Technology and Art. Ideally I would like to spend at least a week helping in a classroom environment before the end of the summer term.
