Photoshoot

Excited today as I have a photoshoot for my FMP collection!!
Ive put together inspiration boards on the look I am wanting to create however with limited facilities, I am thinking of using photo shop to get the reflective look I am wanting.

Here's my inspiration... (All images from Pinterest)

Had a very successful day on Friday photographing my FMP garments!
Here is a preview of the photoshoot whilst my photos are currently being edited ready for my portfolio...

Very excited to see how these images turn out, the look that I was going for was a very minimalist and sleek so the colours on the garments really stood out against the white background.
I feel the photoshoot went really well and pleased wth the outcomes so far. Would just like to say thank you to -

Keep updated as final photos as getting uploaded very shortly!!

On Friday had the oppertunity to work in the studio with photographer and model. It was a great experience for me as I had to plan and prepare everything which was needed for the photoshoot to be a success.
I researched into how I wanted the photos to be, creating inspiration boards which I was then able to show the photographer and he then got a feel for how I wanted my images to look.
The pose is also important as you want it all to work well together I had done my research into poses by looking at online stores as well as using Pinterest for poses. I then took these images along with me on Friday to show my model so she had a clear idea how to stand and position herself.
In doing this I think it made the photoshoot be a success. The photographer was pleased I had clear idea of what I wanted from the photoshoot. If I had not done the research I believe the photos would not be as strong.
In the studio I was working alongside the photographer making sure everything was in place correctly, the smallest details show up so it was very important I was checking all the time to make sure everything was in place.
Here is photo of me doing my styling duties making sure everything is ready for photographer to start taking photos.
There is a lot of things to be thinking of for planning a photoshoot, getting everything set in place for the day.
Here's a quick checklist which I would say to anyone who is wanting to do a photoshoot
- Book slot for studio
- Research photographer who's style of work is what you are wanting
- Booking model (sometimes difficult to find person who is right for your garments)
- Researching, images, lighting, poses, backgrounds
- Any props needed for the day of photoshoot needs arranging

When initially planning a photoshoot it seems straight forward but actually a lot of work and effort needs to be done for it to run smoothly and for it to be successful and I feel by doing all these things helped a great deal as on the day everything was in order and ran how a photoshoot should!
